Employee Training Programs

Employee training programs are more valuable than you might think.  Take a real-life situation that probably happens thousands of times every month.  You own a business and hire a new employee, someone without much work experience.  Whether that person is flipping burgers at McDonalds or reviewing government files for the CIA, chances are techniques exist that will benefit both the new employee and the company.  (more…)

Wendy’s 3conomics campaign jumping on the bandwagon

The Wendy’s 3conomics commerical campaign is really trying to milk the whole economic spin a little to much for me.  It was ok when the Freakonomics book came out since it was new and was the first play on words that I remember with the word economics.  Then there was Wikinomics, another book playing on the word economics.  I was fine with this one too, but now with Wendy’s doing a major nation wide advertising campaign with a bandwagon idea is pretty disappointing.   I don’t know what advertising agency they paid to come up with the Wendy’s 3conomics campaign but I am pretty sure a 1st year college student could come up with something much better.  Maybe some of you like the ads, but you have to agree that it is not creative or original.
